Sam Roberts (Grant Submissions Chair, Special Events Coordinator)

Raised in Washington, D.C. Sam Roberts is a writer and director. He attended Northwestern University, where he earned a B.S. in theater and had three of his adaptations workshopped and performed. He also appeared in numerous stage roles, including Tom Sternberg in Westward, Leon Schwab in Voice of the Prairie, and Ray in This Lime Tree Bower. Since graduation, he has lived and worked in Los Angeles, directing productions of One Flea Spare with the Sight Unseen Theater and Lydia in Bed for Theater of Note. He worked with Hooverville Productions, a NY based company to produce General Desdemona at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and he has worked on several short films. Sam spends his time pondering the eternal questions, and seeks to harness the fruits of that labor for the betterment of Sight Unseen. Sadly, at this time, the eternal questions remain unanswered.
